SC newbie

Live in Upstate SC in a rural neighborhood and my wife bought 6 female Leghorn chicks to put into our old 10x10 dog kennel, that is located in a fenced in backyard. Got the basics shavings, elevated feeder and water dish, big tub for them to stay in, and the heating lamp.

So now the journey begins on building/buying? a coop that will work inside the 10x10 kennel, as we cannot free range the chickens in the backyard due to our dogs and roaming neighborhood cats. Hoping to due right by these animals and provide a good home.
