Scabby crown?

newbie here!
My 5-week old Easter Egger has a scab on her crown. Should I be worried?

Do you mean "comb"? "Crown" would normally refer to the head.

I don't see any problem with her comb. But if you see any fresh injuries to it, dab a bit of Blu-kote on it with a Q-tip. That will heal it and also camouflage it so others don't keep pecking it.

Comb injuries are as common to chickens as skinned knees are in grade-school kids. The comb is where rival chickens grab each other when having a tiff. Scabby combs appear often on chickens.
