I agree that the antibiotics won't help...you aren't treating a bacterial infection, but little bugs that are crawling on your roo. Sevin dust seems to be the popular solution (haven't had to use it) and our feed store also carries poultry dust that is suppose to work well. obviously you wouldn't want to get the dust in his eyes, so I would stay clear of the face. The vaseline on the legs and face will work great (that I have tried!).
