Scabby mass

My poor Penny has a golfball sized lump sticking out of her lower thigh. It’s fleshy on the outside and black and scabby in the middle. I can put my hand around it. I tried to soak it to loosen it with no luck. I put polysporin on it and isolated her. It definitely smells gross. What is it and how can I help her!

I have reposted in the suggested thread. The mass is on her side on her lower thigh. She seems normal otherwise, eating & pooping anyways.

I fear that may be a malignant mass that has become infected. But hopefully those with more experience in these types of growths will chime in with differing views. Good luck with her.
