Are these normal on a hens feet? She is a larger more heavy set breed. A smaller gold breed has smaller ones too. It only seems to happen to hens.

That’s bumblefoot. There is loads on info on treating it here on BYC, but if you want me to link some articles I can! Bumblefoot happens when a nick on your hen‘s foot becomes infected. Muddy conditions can increase the chances of them getting it, as well as dirty roosts.
