[Queen Effie]

We have a hen who is a little bit odd, we love her dearly though. The other night, we noticed a bloody cut on her neck. At first we thought a raccoon had tried to get her, but then we noticed our roosters fighting with the other hens. Since she's odd, she's not the best at defending for herself like the others. We took her away from the flock and put her in our garage. We also have been putting neosporein on her cut, which isn't doing much. Any suggestions on making her heal faster?

Sometimes a rooster gets a little aggressive mating. They bite around the neck so they can climb onboard. Check out the saddles and stuff if you have a roo thats a bit to kinky.
