scalped duckling :(

Thanks for the update! It's not because the duck is growing, it's because the skin is regranulating, and it's healing. It's just a slow process, so keep applying the ointment, and give it more time. It won't be that much longer, now that you're seeing some improvement.
I hope so, I know that's a lot of skin to regrow, being completely gone like that.
He really misses the other ducks :( but I just can't risk him getting infected or reinjured. I just hope I don't have to try to house a full-grown duck indoors:lol:

You're seeing a little of the growth. Once you begin seeing the new growth, it doesn't take so long after that. IF you have a primary care physician, call their office, and tell them you would like some Silvadene, or the generic equivalent. Just say you got a small burn from taking something out of the oven, and would like some to put on it, if they even ask. Usually it's not something they quibble over. It's not expensive, and it's one of the best products on the market for healing skin.

Very good stuff indeed! Working in a kitchen and getting burns I've used this on myself a lot. Never thought about it being good for pet injuries. I need to get me some more. I lost the tube I had.

Is this close enough to the same thing Screenshot_Amazon Shopping_20180816-233149.png ? I had bought it for an incision but I was too chicken to put it on an open wound, lol. Don't know if I'd have the nerve to put it on the duck either, even with like a thousand positive Amazon reviews.
