Glad it's a girl, since I think that's what you wanted. I like the name!

If the boys weren't likely to be so vicious to the girls I wouldn't mind them, but what they do to poor little Ruby's head...Glad it's a girl, since I think that's what you wanted. I like the name!
I've been putting the neosporin on the new skin too, every time I doctor her head, in the hopes that would help. So far I don't see any change but maybe now that the big scab is gone it'll start to relax. She looks so fantastic! You did a great job! If her skin stays tight you could always put the ointment on it and gently massage it outward from the middle of the head. It would encourage the skin to loosen up.
She's been coming to work with me this whole time!Congrats one the girl love the name. Maybe if you show your boss a pic of Billie Sue he'll be proud to have a duck named after himor better yet bring her to work lol
I want to; it's just getting a little old dragging this huge plastic tote back and forth. If I could get her to wear the duck diaper harness, however...Aww how sweet. Well just keep bringing her.![]()
Ya a a a!Oh and by the way folks - it's a girl!
This isn't the best or most obvious girly-quack I've heard in the past day or two, but it's the only one I've been able to get on video, lol. She won't do it if I'm holding the phone up at her, and often only if I leave the room (so that's what I did, haha).
Meet Billie Sue - I've teasing my boss that since my little baby was bald I'd name it after him since he's bald as well (he doesn't find this as amusing as I do), and since the baby is not a "he" but a "she", I thought adding Sue helped distinguish gender and also honors her mommy, Ruby Sue.
