Trim back any feathers that are getting in the wound, use some small scissors. That will help keep it clean and bacteria out. If you have some plain neosporin or plain triple antibiotic ointment (human stuff) apply that to cover the wound. Reapply a couple of times a day to keep it covered in ointment until it's well scabbed over. The scab may be very thick when it forms, and will gradually come off on it's own. This will probably take weeks to a couple of months to heal up well, but it can as long as it doesn't get infected. Once the feathers regrow you won't be able to tell it happened.
Picture of my bird below that was scalped. I treated as above, picture was taken about 5 weeks after it happened. Once the feathers all came in, you couldn't tell.
