Scaly leg mites?

My 5 week old porcelain d’uccle and silkies have what appear to be raised scales. It’s only on the feathered footed chicks. The d’uccle seems to be worse. All other 10 chicks are normal. Is this normal due to feathers coming in or mites? They are on pine shavings indoors. If this is scaly leg mites, what is the best course of action with young chicks?
