hi i am hatching some of my friends eggs for them, and just remembered that there hens have bad scaly mites and was wondering if this could effect her eggs? will they still hatch? could it make the other eggs go bad?

Just common sense. No experience. :
I dont think it affects the hatching process as long as you’re friends haven’t used chemicals to threat the spider legs.

Doubtful.

will they still hatch?
If the parents were otherwise healthy, the egg are fertile, and the incubation process is done correctly...they should hatch just fine.

could it make the other eggs go bad?
No.

Leg mites, worming with Iverectin pour on treatment made easy to apply with droppers from Sally's Beauty Supplty. Dropper are used for fauld nail liquid, they are 6 inches long and hold about a tablespoon. I use to apply work treatment to my Nankin bantams. They need only three drops, the dropper makes this very easy. Hope this is helpful. Carol
