you need to change their living area. ducks live up to 20 years and are just as active as dogs are, would you keep a dog in a cage all day? your not treating your ducks any better than factories are.

I think I like the idea of the run and I jsut might try letting them out every weekend how does that sound!

adding light isn’t helping, they need space to run and forage, a pool to swim in, and to get to be ducks

being stuck in a cage for 5 days a week isn’t good for them. you seriously need to consider rehoming them if you can’t give them the care they deserve.
