Scars

Scars....hmmm.... I have one under my chin where I fell in an empty firegrate when I was two....two very large C" section scars....camera through the belly button scar....biopsy scars on leg,
many nasty "mossie" scars on legs (react to mossie bites dreadfully) other than that nothing..they are my "battle" scars of life in general......

This goes along with the Just how dangerous can a rooster become? tread....

A few year Ago we had a white japanese bantam rooster. He attacked everything and everyone. He was so tiny you couldn't hear him coming... It twas a bright sunny morning when mother sent me out to gather eggs.I bent down and started picking the eggs up and WHAMM He got me.. Right next to my right eye is a small indention that is very noticeable if you look closely.

Also on thanksgiving I bent down to feed some leftovers to a hen and she pecked my eye. Luckily I shut it and she caught the lid.But it was so embarrassing telling all the folks (how I got a black eye)

He loves to hear all the stories of when he was tiny so I get to tell them a LOT and he always like to hear how he got his cool scar.

The funny thing is, it is a beautiful little scar and just adds to his oh so perfect little face.

fyi, this is actually "chickenmum"'s sister.

I've got a little scar on my forehead from when I was running and fell on a metal bedstead that was dismantled when I was little. And I have one one my right knee from playing in an old barn and cutting it on a nail. Had to get a tetenus (however you spell that) booster for that one. And I've got numerous small ones that I don't know where they came from. Pretty boring really.

I have too many to list but two of them are chicken related. One is on the back of my hand because I was careless with cut chicken wire. The other is a circle next to my knee from being spurred by a rooster when I was two--52 years ago.

I have a huge one on my right arm under the bottom. I got 3rd degree burns from setting it on a burner when I was 6. it didn't look hot the color had went back to normal, I walked in the kitchen and set my arm on the burner. I have one on my belly where I was draining spaghetti water when I was 12 and it splashed out on my stomach. I have several on my stomache from gallbladder surgery. Oh and I have one in the back of my head . when I was 7 I think my dad was remodeling our garage (turning it into a family room) my mom had made cherry pie. I was setting in a wheelbarrel in the garage my brother tipped it over and my head landed on a bolt in the corner of the room and went up in my head.

Wow! One small question for BYCers - one GIANT Story for ALL! ROFL!

OK -
Scar on my inner lower left leg from dropping a glass soda-bottle, which exploded, when I was 4.
Broken finger and collarbone from horse accident when I was 13.
Sliced finger-pad from accidentally breaking a glass elbow-tube in physics-lab when I was 14.
Left index finger sliced open from grabbing a switch-blade that I thought was a comb my BIL pulled to swat me cause I was teasing him. (He thought I'd see the blade and back off - not grab it! )
I have 4-million stretchmarks from twins and 3 singletons I bore when a young adult.
Oodles of cuts, slashes, and scrapes from working Landscape for a career.
Once I got slashes on both hands from my baby-son picking up the operational end of a line-trimmer while I was just finishing-up replacing the line on the business-end.
Surgical-scar on my lower-back from spinal surgery.
Two surgical-scars on lower right leg from guillotine-fracture of both leg-bones from getting hit by a truck.
Sliced another finger-pad with a blade while bud-grafting apple trees.
Scar on foot-bottom from a nail-in-a-board that went through my work-boot.
And I sliced the inside of my forearm open on the water-tank's guillotine-blade at a flower-shop I worked for, while cleaning and oiling said blade.
... and I ain't done livin' yet...

I have one under my eye from eye muscle surgery three times as a toddler. Without the surgery, I would have eventually been blind in one eye (it was very lazy).

I wore an eyepatch over my good eye to force the lazy one to do more work most of the time as a very young child. I got to pick out a sticker every day to put on my patch so that I thought it was a fun thing (instead of a scary health thing). One time, my family was in McDonald's, and some guy saw me with the patch. He asked my dad, "What did you do? Punch her in the face?" I don't remember this at all because I was so little, but apparently it was all my dad could do not to punch the GUY in the face (he is normally extremely reserved and controlled).

Oh I have a few:

My knee from falling off a 3 foot cliff when I was on a Brownie campout.

My big toe from falling down the stairs after my cat peed on the floor right in front of me - I was chasing him.

One on my arm from having a tattoo removed

One of my hand from a glass breaking while washing it

One inside my belly button from having the tubes tied

I think that's it.
