I would but my moms mad that the hens are free loading and she wants to eat the tops, they really need to go

what does anyone do with a rooster flock besides annoy their neighbors ? (tho that is a great reason)

I have no neighbors and the ones I do have horses so they don’t mind

I'm sorry, if you can afford it that's your business. But, do you rotate them for breeding, or can they work together to drive off predators?
