I have a serama cockerel that I don’t know if he is wheaten or black breasted red. From what I researched, they are pretty much the same! I know there are some patterns that resemble each other, we may have to allow, depending on how the flow goes?

Yeah I suppose. I think black breasted red (red duckwing) has red hackles, while wheaten has gold ones, but gold duckwing is hard to tell, partridge too.
Usually by the breed you know though. Normally they have either or neither nor, but seramas have everything.

I'm not sure if hackle striping has to do with it.

It is pretty interesting the direction it went--I definitely wasn't expecting Guineas!

I'm really surprised that no one has any muddy ducks to share for the scavenger hunt, though!
