Schlecht Hatchery order review (Day 19 update)

Well, we are certainly on opposite sides of the state, aren't we? Still good to know they are some from Idaho on here. I know of about ten people that are from Idaho, but I can only think of three that post even somewhat regularly and that's counting you and me.

BTW, glad you posted regarding the difference in temperature when you removed the turner from your Little Giant. I have forty eggs in a Little Giant that I'm taking out of the turner tomorrow so I will be sure to watch the temperature real close. Well, here's hoping we all have a good hatch.

I'm not sure why Marcus didn't order from Dunlop's, but I can tell you they don't hatch year round. They told me they wouldn't have hatching eggs available til Feb, but I was able to get as assortment from them in Jan... assortment meaning they weren't sorted by breed. Sooo, I have twenty-four eggs set to hatch the end of this week that I have no idea what will pop out of the shell except for the seven blue-green eggs which are obviously Ameraucana's. But, hey, I love surprises! When did you get your eggs, Skeeter, and did they have them sorted by breed?

I set mine on the 24th of Jan.I got 6 BO 6 BA 6 RIR and 6 BR,I needed some out crosses, they are all marked too,I candledand had one clear but the rest seem fine so far
They did tell me that the price was going up on eggs soon because they would be keeping them to hatch

I have the catalog for Dunlop and would have ordered from them, but they didn't have barred rocks available and I wanted to get an early start so they would be laying this season. =]
