So, our moving is finally over, and we are slowly settling in our new house. The chicks are nearly fully feathered, our ducks are all grown up, and the goats are exploring their new yard.

^ BL- Harley, BR- Rosie, FL Ace, FR Snake - all settled and relaxing.

^ B- Pogo, F- Jelly ~ they have turned into such beautiful ducks, Jelly still won't habe any part of us, but Pogo is an amazing friend and companion for her and comes to us for food.

* Dinky the Roo isn't pictured as he has been a terror and may end up being rehomed.

So today was such a beautiful day, but started with tragedy. While going about our morning chores, the partner was feeding and watering our little ladies when Popcorn escaped. The odd thing was, when he caught her (same as we always do), she went limp and seemed to just, die?

We waited a good 20 minutes after trying to revive her and we still don't know what happened. But, she was our favorite little red/white pullet.

^ Upgraded to a dog crate to peck and scratch in, they've been living in this for the last few nights with a small house added at night for a cozy place to sleep.

^ Pogo and Jelly will be 12 weeks old next week amd we are so excited. A few more months and we should get fertile eggs from them.

^ Daphne is officially my best friend, she calls amd seeks me for affection and snacks. Staples is still a work in progress, but she's getting there skowly.

G'day BYC~

So, its been a while? I know right!
But, I'm back! And we've had a lot of changes since moving.

Pogo and Jelly are still their free-range selves, avoiding us and doing their own thing; while the chooks have been upgraded to a large run and their kennel turned into a sleep coop~

Everyone is grown and feathered, and we've added 2 new chickens, well one of our own and are boarding a chook for our friends.

Plus! We have a new addition~ Our goat Daphne decided to pop 2.5 weeks ago just as we decided to sell on the goats due to personal reasons. She rejected the last born doeling and kept the buckling who went with her. So, we have a 2.5 week old little doe among our ranks now.

Once again, it has been a long while! 3 months to be exact~

Well, there's been a lot of changes!! Some good, and some bad

Firstly, we sadly had to let our Bottle Baby "Butterfly" go to the same home as our other girls and her brother, there were other bottle babies there and she was getting lonely being an only goat (as expected)- so this was for the better life of her, as bad as I felt having to say goodbye

I cried when we dropped her off.

Secondly, we've expanded! We now have;
2 Ducks (Jelly and Pogo)
12 Chickens (Hens- Chicky, Lola, Genie, Opal, Rocket, Tender, Nugget / Pullets- Tequila, Rum, Cider, Ginger, and Whiskey)
1 Cockeral (Vodka)
1 Duckling (Puddin *Hatched by Chicky)
1 Gosling (Punter)
PLUS our friends chooks - 3 Hens, 1 Rooster

Currently we are expecting 8-10 Ducklings around Dec 4th & 5 Chicks around Nov 28-29th
