School Bus broiler house/juvenile safe house good or bad idea?

I thought it would fine. Easy in easy out, easy to get food and water to, easy to shut in at night. Easy cleaning. You might be able to put different sections in there if you had different ages of birds.

Sorry if it sounded like i was dissing you but yes it would be good you could even put pens in there where the seats are and use the walkway as a walkway

I didn't take it that way at all. The only reason I would consider it is because it will be hidden from view of the road. And 400 or so square feet or so would hold lots of baby chicks. I would take all of the seats out. It would be nice if it drove. Just drive it up to the farmers market and sell them right off of the bus.

Yep and you could make different levels so you could keep more in there if your selling them

I think it would make a great "tractor" for meaties but my only concern is that it is a long way to the ground from the floor of the bus. Meaties are typically not well balanced, not coordinated, and have many leg problems. Maybe such a long ramp to get to the ground would be a detriment to their legs. However, if you don't plan to let them out to range, you'd be fine. 100 seems like a lot in a bus space, but perhaps not.

I would just leave them in there for the 8 weeks or so. I think the space would be about 40x8 (behind the drivers seat) 320 sq ft. You could keep quite a few in there. Even if it didn't run you could tow it with a tractor if you have one.
