cristy swore under her breath and yanked her deep into the alley way, "watch it! your gonna get hit by a car!" she said, "im not going to hurt you and if you would give me a chance for once, i would tell you why im here." she said getting impatient.
 
"Oh really? Because you following me has really given me that impression." Skylar said, her words oozing with sarcasm. She didn't know of anybody who had followed her because they didn't want to hurt her. She yanked back her arm. "I can fend for myself, thank you very much." She said coolly, turning back to the exit to the alley. The screech had stopped, replaced by that deep hum. She heard that the honks of the cars were louder and more frequent than usual, but didn't understand why.

"please, and why would i want to hurt you? if you can give me a logical explanation as to why a girl who is almost 18 would want to hurt you, then i might cool off a little bit. but im here because of your gifts. " cristy said, "and no i don't want to exploit them or use you, in fact i don't want you, listen there is this place and its a school, but its for kids and some older kids who just happen to have freaky ability's. " she laughed, "i know mine is freaky." she said with a smile, but she knew skylar couldn't see it.
