School projects

    I'm curious, how many of you have to help your child bake stuff for school projects?

    This was my son's project (5th grade) - The edible cell project. They had to make something and label all the parts of a cell with food items. We did a German Chocolate cake, from scratch of course. Then they got to share their food with the class.

    It was really interesting to see what the kids came up with. Some had pizza, some jello (with M&M's in it [​IMG] ), someone hollowed out a round bread roll and used that, cakes, cookies, etc.
