OK dino time!! This is a big mystery, what color scales do dinos have??? Heres my anser, NONE!!! As most of us know, the closest relation to dinosour movement are flightless birds, not like penguins, but like chickens. So, dinosours might be feathered!!! It makes sense!!!!

I've always thought that chickens needed little arms and claws like Reptar on Rugrats.

They just seem to be missing that.

ok, whoever said about fossilized skin is right. there is at least fossilized mud impressions of scale, But also of feathers from some chinese raptor-type dinosaur. the dino books my kids have show valociraptors with feathers. Also, after dinos went out and before mammels went crazy there was a period with Large eagle/ostrich type predators. i do think that the reason we look at chikens and sometimes think "raptors" is becuase they did such a good job with jerassic park. lol i mean, how else would we all say "yeah my chicken reminds me of raptors" ?? raptor is just a word for bird of prey, so...... i agree anyways with that sentiment.

i also wanted to say, since obviously ya'll are ok with dinosaurs, i once worked with a girl who did NOT believe in dinosaurs.... now i thought this was an isolated incident, i have never in my life met anyone who thought they were make believe, BUT i had a customer come in and tell me the same thing. we have dino toys by the cash register and thats how it came up. i asked about the bones and the one girl says theyre made up too and the customer says she knows god put them there, but she doesnt believe they were ever REAL. How's THAT for scientific theory??
