I left the house @ 5:00 a.m. to exercise before my shift @ the F.D. starts. I get a call about 6:30 from DW telling me the dogs had killed an opossum in the backyard! My wife HATES opossums. Snakes are to Indiana Jones as opossums are to my wife. I had to calm her down enough to tell that the dogs did a good thing! She called my neighbor's husband over to bag it up for her. I told her to get a pic so I could brag on the BYC board! Anyhoos, my mini dachshunds killed two of our hens in a week about a month ago. I feel they are working on their karma. Kudos to them.
