Scrambled Air Cells?

Usually the air cell is still there just detached by shipping. If you don't see an air cell anywhere are you sure your humidity is right? The air cell will start out nearly invisible on fresh eggs and get bigger as they lose moisture. An egg needs to lose 10% of it's weight in moisture to have the best chance of hatching. If your humidity is too high they won't lose moisture and the air cell will not grow to a size you can see while candling.

Yeah, I'm sure. My hum is fine, it's been between 35% and 45%. The eggs had no visible air cells the day they arrived and I candled before I put them in the bator to look for cracks and things. You could see the air cell was burst or something, the way it moved around oddly.
