Here is my coop i made from a bunch of scrap wood ! It works for now. Let me know what you think

I think you did a great job! I would suggest burying some wire under the perimiter of the run to discourage predators. Otherwise, way to go green!
 
I love that you recycled the wood....be careful of that open window at the top -- hawks, owls, etc. You'd be surprised what they'll do when hungry.

Way to go in preserving the environment and saving the trees AND keeping chickens happy!
 
I dug into the ground about a half foot to bury the fence and im going to put some river rock around it also. the windows have some tough screen on them also its just hard to see in pics. I got most of my ideas from this site;) Keep the comments coming

Awesome! I think you've done a fine job. We spent nearly 200 bucks on the pen alone, but I was pretty proud of us when we used some bricks that had been piled up by our cook shed. These were almost crumbly they were so old. We dug a trench outside the perimeter of our pen and buried the bricks to discourage predators from digging in. (Predators meaning our weiney dogs who find digging to be sport!)
