Scratching

Hi everyone. I have ducklings that are on day 27 and I hear scratching.I think that means they are getting ready hatch but I was wondering if I could have anyone else's opinion? It sounds like tiny little ticks coming from within the shell. I am trying to avoid candling so I disturb them as little as possible in these last days so they possibly have pipped but i'm not sure.

If last I candled I didn't think they had yet

Sounds like they are getting ready to pip. Most likely working on the internal pip right now if you haven't heard any chirps yet.
