Well, I was confused. The "recipe" says:
Mating these F1 birds together will produce (in a large hatch)
Barred;Black;Delaware;Split gold/silver males;Buff Columbian; Barred Buff Columbian & Silver Columbian (the last will be pullets)
in the ratios 18:6:3:2:1:1:1:
The Delawares will be in a ratio of 2 males to each female.
Select the Delawares & the Silver Columbian pullets.

Since Delaware and Silver Columbian are identified, I assumed that meant 2 different birds. I just don't know. I wrote to Tim today and asked him. I sent him a picture to see the legs and he said:

Do not use any birds that have the greenish legs for breeding. You have plenty of birds with nice yellow legs to use. The genes for green legs came from the barred rock. The green legs will not show in the barred birds because of the barring gene.

I see some of the birds are showing some black in their hackles. Look for barring in the tail feathers and hackles of the silver wheaten birds.

The white chick one on the left with the small comb- that is a silver columbian. All of the white birds in your picture are silver columbian.

OMG what a freaky day....

Mare and her baby came back and I found out the hard way that the ridiculous idiot named Elvis who owns the nag and the filly had the filly shod all the way around...who the hell shoes a baby all the way around? Well she damaged my fence and almost damaged my Diva but Diva went all Alpha on the mare and passed a swift kick to the baby to straighten her out. What a ticked off mare I had. Check out this video....all lathered up and running straight at me who was standing in the only weakness of our fenceline Gah! Thank goodness Diva Do listens to "No" but she was lathered , biting at my jacket, pulling my hair and very very angry.

Diva Tantrum

when I finally got her to go away, this was her behavior...I finally called the moron who owns the nag and the foal and he came three hours later and hauled them away. I had to put Jo in her stall which really hacked her off and tons of screaming immediately began.

I was afraid Jo was going to hurt herself....she was thinking so hard about going over the fence but with me standing out there she would not do it thank heavens
I am uploading the second video of the mad horse.

Kathy....do you have any cull Dellie boys around 10 - 15 weeks old? I may need one to replace Orion. I am checking with the father of the little girl that wanted to buy Orion and his girls.

I lost all of my ducklings courtesy of a heat lamp bulb blowing and they got too cold during the night. It went down to freezing here

I am just sick over it and am really about ready to throw my hands in the air and give up, some days it just does not pay to get out of bed does it. *sigh*
