WOW you guys were chatty while i was offline! IT was indeed great to meet Kathy and Beth! I know have a face and a hug to go with our online yacking away! Took yesterday off from the world basically - si just catching up! However i never ended up meeting Nella

I am soooooooo tired. Are you? Have you recovered yet? I worked all night and just got home. My house is a pig pen, and I have to get things cleaned up around here.

Ok just got off the line with my bro (biomistake) and he has made it from his house, to Mrs. Kathy's and now back home and has got me some new New Hampshires, Barred Rocks, and Dellies to bring to me for Christmas(well I paid for them, he's just the deliverer)my present to me from Mrs. Kathy and my brother. I'm so excited

now I'm gonna have me a bunch of good stock to choose from to start up me some strains of these fine bloodlines of chickens Mrs. Kathy has so dutifully sought out here in the last couple of years and is generous enough to share and spread around. I'm doing my part in introducing them to down here in the deep southern states, well when I get established that is. Oh boy, more projects, I need more to do

SO happy to see Billy and Cate today! I hope you will enjoy the birds. I replaced the ones the hawk took, and added a couple more. OH, and I was just now thinking.... I believe the one "Nella's cockerel," (F2 silver barred?) is in there, too!


Anyway, glad to be home and hope to get caught up on sleep and posts soon.

Good morning Mrs. Kathy and again I thanks you. I got an email form Billy, he says you done me good and that I'll be surprised and proud and that I came away pretty good on the numbers (I presume he means pullet to cockerel ratio I'm sure) anyway he says he will post pics up later for me so I will pass them along to here whenever I get them. NOW, I just got to wait till 12/13 another 6 wks 'fore I get to lay my own eyes in person on them but that's good, its just something else to anticipate and keep me up on my toes, right? right LOL

Kathy I hear ya....I miss Cyn before I get a block from her house and I missed Beth before she got off my road

It will take time to recover from trips and shows like that...sort of like having jetlag.

I had to share these, the adorable OEs that Wynette and Cyn conspired to get me are adorable and they are doing well with my two orloff babies but this little one is the sweetest thing ever. I am suspecting it to be a girl but time will tell for sure, there is one that without question is a boy because it adores me. The other 3 are undetermined. hahahahahahaha

This little one is just a doll, spoiled rotten of course feathered feets and all

I have to get updated pics of the Boys, Atlas and brother and Zena (Atlas is crowing to beat the band hahahaha) to share also but will have to wait until after my doc appointment today. Wish me luck this afternoon hopefully the thyroid is still improving.

I have to confess, DH is making up for being a grump - he has cleaned the house and done the laundry and let me deal with the coops and new chickens, etc.

LH, its odd, isn't it? I wish we all lived closer to each other. Maybe when we are old, we can start an "Home for Old Chicken Breeders" out in the country somewhere.

Well I am hoping to win the Powerball then I shall buy the 80+ acres next door and build houses for Cyn, You, Kathy and Amy and etc etc like time shares for those who wish to visit or my containment facility for those who cannot ever leave (smirk) and we can have HUGE climate controlled coops and barns. What the heck, I cannot take all that money with me why not enjoy it and make a retirement community for our chickens and horses and old breeders (snicker)?

Oh BTW Beth, later this evening I will upload the whacky video of the Diva Do from this am...she was in rare form...stomping and kicking the wall of her stall because I was, dare I say it, LATE getting out there. hehehehehehe Oh and the mill was closed yesterday so I had to get her a bag of different food....she was not happy about that last night either and I am not too fond of it either but she will not starve and it is okay stuff.
