Shelby is the Carol Burnette of the place - she is SO funny. She flies up to the ledge outside her coop window, and looks down on everyone and poops on them. She knows her name, Cyn, and comes running when I call, eats out of my hand, and stays out of Katia and Cloud's way. She is not picking on anyone's feathers that I can tell. And, yes, she laid her second and fourth day here, then stopped after I put her in with Ultrasuede and his girls and has now picked up laying this weekend, and its such a lovely egg. I gave the first one to my MIL, and she was just tickled.

I don't think Ultrasuede knows she is a chicken, he is not attempting to have his way with her that I can see. He enamored right now of Miss Lucy and Miss Ethel. The bearded lady is escaping his notice. Lucy is smaller than Shelby and handles him OK, so until I move her to the new coop once the run is done (hopefully this coming weekend) I think she will be OK. She will be with two Americaunas then and hopefully they will all be pals.

Does anyone still use Zicam for this sort of thing? Headache, sore throat, sniffles, cough.

ok so apparently goat kissing brings bad luck - was busy but today - car dead wpnt start wpnt jump- watching TV it POPS and starts beeping - smoke starts copming out of the top - and my favorite fish in my tank died! Then to go out to find one of my favorite old hens dead - I MEAN REALLY ???? Sorry venting - hope you are better Nella -

Oh Knox! I am so sorry! That is a pretty darn horrible day. Cars and TV's can be replaced, but NOT favorite fish and sweet old hens.

I would have a talk with Bambi if I were you!

Yeah, Nella, are those drugs working? Kathy, you any better? Every one else that is ailing? Hey, maybe we are all just getting it over with before the holidays!

That's funny about Shelby! I told you she was sweet, but just nuts over the "test patterns" of the BRs. Glad you're enjoying her.

Knox, they say some days, you're the pigeon and some days, you're the statue. Today is your statue day! So sorry about the hen, though. Suede isn't feeling well today for some reason. His old self ain't taking the weird cold, then warm, then wet-cold, then warm, then cold weather very well.

Knox, darling I so hear ya. Here is a recap of my day. Chiropractor appointment, cracked a molar, found out my x-rays showed an Abdominal Aneurysm so I must now find a specialist for that pronto *sigh*, Chiro tomorrow, dentist on Wednesday and well who knows about the rest of the week. I am going to bed early I think, I have had enjoy joyful news for one day.

Cetawin, this is very bad news indeed, I hope everything is fixable! Tell the Diva not to kick Nella's image too hard, we do still like her, even though she has liberally passed the plague to us all.

Suede is just having empathetic moments with the rest of us sickies. He will, he MUST be fine! Besides, he was no where near Nella!

I worked today. Still sick, but much better. If I can quit coughing I will be fine. NyQuil helps me sleep. That's all I have used, NyQuil and Motrin..... I'm cured.
