Concensus on the English Orp thread is that I have 4 roos and one pullet for sure, and the 5th one is still up in the air - I may have to come steal that girl!!!!

Sorry I'm late guys, and I won't have much time to visit today or for the next couple of days. My sister in law and brother in law from Wisconsin arrived at 1:40 this morning and will be with us through Sunday night. Not nearly long enough of a visit by half, but what with the house not being done yet, it may be just the right length of time. They're great folks and I'm really gonna miss Bonnie, well John too for that matter, when they go back home. Just really sweet folks. So, now you know why I'm really running short on time this weekend.

Oh Kathy, what can I say? I am SO sorry to see that you've been screwed by this girl once again. She apparently has no conscience! And certainly NO ethics either! To be honest, I think she's a top rate scam artist. Over $300 dollars???

There's an old saying Kathy: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me a third time and watch your back!

I so hope that you'll find some way to put the fear of reprisals into this girl. But something tells me that she's just such a pro at this kind of con game, that nothing will dissuade her from pulling the same stunt on the next poor unsuspecting customer that comes along. When enough of a hew and a cry has been raised over her and her less than honest dealings, you know what will happen: She'll basically leave, only to reappear at a later date with a different name and probably touting a different breed. What would you care to bet that nothing you have received thus far is even remotely purebred? Splits indeed!

It's people like this that give honest, hard working breeders a bad name. It tarnishes what is otherwise a good and inoffensive pursuit. I just want to reach through the Internet and slap the living Shinola out of her!

Beth, OK, you and Cetawin can just stop already! I'm already pea green with envy that y'all live close enough to each other to be able to have a nice visit now and then !!

Just kidding...about the stopping with all the gloating that is. I probably would do it too!

Beth, you will have to let me know what day exactly you are going up...there is a wonderful mom n pop butcher/meat market about 6 miles from me and I can grab steaks or if you come in early afternoon/midday, we can run up and see what they have or have them cut what we want

unlike when Scott and Lori were here, I have a diningroom table now. Poor Scott, Lori and her DH had to eat on TV trays, laps, whatever was available at the moment. hahaha Or we can spend more time playing with, loving on and visiting with Joleta and go to Charley's for a meal and let them cook and clean.

Then again...Early November would be great "stand over the grill" weather too. hehehehe

Cyn you take your time...and she will not be here until the first part of November...if it is done we shall use, if it is not, we shall use the one I am using now. Now worries.

How is my Suede? I dreamt of my three adopted boys last night.....Zane dust bathing in the sun....Suede and Ike were running around together. LOL almost like the dream of them knocking on my door in Oregon together.

They were just walking around here checking out everything and Zane was kicked by in my flower bed in Thor's dust hole, enjoy the sun amd flopping around.

Cetawin- FUN!!! Any of those options sounds wonderful- DH is checking to see if he can move some of his vacation days, and then I can finalize things. I am so excited about this whole weekend I am just hopping all over the place! Amy, we will think of you sadly for a moment, and wish you were there.

AND, AND, AND- Kathy is sending me Alexander!!!!!! My poor Del girls have been lanquishing leaderless, lonesome, lovelorn and Lukeless for long enough!!!!

Not sure about the rest of this hatch...I see no pips, no movement, no peeping. Wondering if she let them get too cold. Guess I'll hold out another day or so hoping that Sunday was the date I remembered they were "supposed" to hatch
