Thank you, I think so, too. Rex has been a very good boy. He's super alert. He and the bantam roosters, whose pens are close together, are the first ones to sound alarms when something is wrong. His voice sure carries, too!

Kathy, Dottie is hinting at going broody on me. She'd better not, that bad girl! Her eggs are the smallest of the three pullets, but we still need them this month. She is periodically clucking deep in her throat and flaring her head/neck feathers. I keep saying, NOT NOW, little missy! Three is enough to collect some hatching eggs, but if just two are laying, it sure is harder.

Let's hope she holds off till the end of the month.

Oh, here's one pic of Suede's women, though Nugget was on the far left and got cut off somewhat.

These were taken tonight..he was nervous being inside but still a sweet boy.

Hector is nearly 7 months old? Already? Time sure flies by, doesn't if? Looks like he is gonna be a big one!

Cyn, you tell Dottie it is too darn cold to be broody! Straighten her out!

Those buff girls are gorgeous! I have NO buffs here! Send me those girls!

Yup he is growing like crazy....got to get pics of Nutmeg and the other "babies"...but Hector is a sweetie. My hope is to integrate him in with Lancelot as a backup roo....Lance had Severus before I sold him so keep fingers crossed.

LOL better said before one goes to sleep than when one wakes tomorrow.
