Sorry, haven't been around much. I have worked 3 out of 4 nights, and been tired....

My broody and her chicks seem to be doing well.

Yup, Zane turned 4 yrs old this past November. He's doing very well. Here he is with Gypsy.

Cyn, Zane looks so happy there with his girl Gypsy. I swear, if a rooster could smile, he's doing so in that picture! What a love!

Kathy, I wish you'd give mama girl there a name! A face that sweet needs a name! The babies are looking healthy and happy too! Don't ya just love their sweet little fluffy butts?!?

I so hope Maggie and/or Cosette goes broody this spring or summer. I'd love to have a bunch more of those darling little poofy cheeked hooligans running around! Gotta love the faces of EE's and Amer's!

There is that barred studmuffin! I had the honor of feeding that boy a blueberry muffin and the pleasure of carrying Ms. Gypsy over to his bachelor pad for some time with him. Oh my he saw her and stood up to dance his heart out and cluck to her where the goodies were. That boy loves his Gypsy girl. He dances, shows her the goodies, grooms her and let's her groom him and Amy...he does smile. I swear his face lights up and his eyes smile when he sees his Gypsy girl. Gotta love that boy Zane.

Geeezzzzz, I must be getting old. I slept from about 4PM until 3AM. WOW, it's a wonder I didn't pee the bed, laying there that long.

Kathy, sounds like you needed some good sleep! Even YOU have to sleep sometimes, lady. Look at this bed runner I just finished piecing yesterday. Terrie Lacy gifted me with a book on bed runners out of the blue and I have already done three from the book with fabrics I had here. The second pic shows the book open to the instructions so you can see how close it looks-I didn't have enough of any similar fabric to do the last beige floral border so I just ended with the dark blue in a wider strip than called for in the instructions. It's plenty big enough anyway!

Thanks, Kathy! And the project is not so huge, you get sick of it before it's done, either. You'll recognize some fabrics in there that you sent me, I bet. Wynette loved the one I made for her, which was this one, in colors she said she likes together (the binding was just pinned on the backside in the pic, which is why it looks wrinkled). The overhang on the blue and red one is longer than on Wynette's:





Oh, LH, Gypsy does look pretty with feathers on her head, though, doesn't she? When you took her to visit Zane, I think she was mostly bald, LOL.
