Cyn, those bed runners are positively to die for!
It is my hope, someday, when this dang house is DONE, to be able to sit down to my two sewing machines and create something even half as beautiful as your work! I love the heart pattern quilting you did on the one for Wynette.
How do you do that, and keep them so perfect? Do you have a template to do so? Some kind of guide for your sewing machine? Right now, I'm working with a wonderful old Singer 301 that had belonged to my grandmother and then my mother. [she'd really like to have that machine back someday.
] Also, I have a newer, albeit still an 18 year old Singer, model number escapes me at the moment. But I know I can get the "embroidery" foot for it. At least they made one for it at one time. I should be able to find one somewhere, I should think. So, right now, doing machine quilting is a bit of a bear to do. Any suggestions on what might make it easier for me to do so, with either of my machines? Dang, how I wish you, Kathy and Laura were closer to me, Cyn. I'd be pickin' your brains left, right and center on quilting and just sewing in general! Actually, y'all are probably very fortunate to be living so far from me. I could really make a pest of myself otherwise!
Well, I hear Chief and the gang calling my name. Sounds like Denny must have opened the doors for them. What a guy! We're gonna be windy and sunny here for most of the day. Hope everyone has a great day! Take care......later taters!
Side note: Where the heck is Jeff? I haven't seen him post in a long time. Hope he's doing OK.
