Well, shiver me timbers, Caroline is laying again! That means 23 out of 25 in the main coop are laying. The only holdouts are Miranda, who has issues as you know, and Nora the blue Ameraucana, who hasn't laid in ages and ages.

Molly, my Phoenix, is finishing up Day 19 with her two eggs today, one is Carly's and one is Maretta's (a Delawegger).

Well, Miranda is on the downhill slide again. She is acting spacey, like she had a mini-stroke. It comes and goes. It's how she was acting the first time I noticed something was wrong a few weeks ago. Her abdomen is huge and she has lost so much weight. Her crop keeps bogging down and Tom massages it to get it moving again, but it's a symptom of system shutdown. I just didn't realize it would go on this long. She manages to walk around but it's like she's on drugs or something, just glazed over looking.

I updated my bad neighbor dog thread here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...dog-on-my-deck-got-an-earful/200#post_8705666

It may have another installment if they can't keep that dog contained so thought I'd post the link.

Serrin, How did you do that?
I had it in my file here on BYC, and couldn't figure out how to get the picture on here.

Cyn, I'm sorry about Miranda. I don't know what's sadder, watching them go downhill, or passing.
