Very nice collection, Nella! I am thinking I like the idea of the wire bottom, too. I am gonna have to think more on this, now.

Wire bottom would mean no bedding ($) and I could easily use newspaper under the wire for easy clean up, right? Anyone have experience with wire bottoms?

Little did I know how much dirt we've tracked into the carpet in the last 2 months

I'm Rug Dr'in and it left dirt tracks not clean streaks

I hate raising birds on wire bottoms......just can't get over my dislike of it! All of mine have solid bottoms. Any double decker would need a poop tray anyways.....I do have to admit i was throwing around the idea of using one of those big metal drip trays for oil spills under cars? They are like $10 and are about 3x4 I think. Neat idea, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I might be obsessed with seeing other people's creations. Maybe.
