I am wasting a breeding coop for 4 bantam roosters. Little buggars. I am still short one pen for my poor sweet innocent yet completely evil mottled bantam cochin rooster that Cetawin's mean rooster keeps beating up. He spent all day hiding at the far corner of the yard all by himself. So I pulled him out of the coop tonight and stuck him in a plastic tub in the garage to sleep. No idea where I will put him tomorrow during daytime. I am out of pens! 6 brooders are full, breeding tractor is full, breeding pen is full. Giant rooster pen is empty but he would be hawk bait in there. I'm considering moving the 4 roosters from the breeding pen back to the big rooster pen....then moving Mr Mottled and a few of the mottled girls for company into that breeding pen.
Hmmmmm..........OR I could finally finish that darn 4x4 coop that is just sitting in the carport. Sigh.
