Good morning, everyone! It MAY be cooler here today. I am sad to relate Ultrasuede bit my leg this morning when I let everyone out of the coop.

I chased him around the run about three times with me scolding and calling him a toerag (Cetawin, thanks for that word!) and him apologizing and blaming it on the fact I was wearing my muck boots instead of my slip ons and he had forgotten what they looked like. He said he hadn't had his scratch yet, and he is always grumpy till he has his scratch. I decided to forgive him.
Luke simply stood in the door way and added to the confusion by sounding the alarm. Then they both chased the girls all over until they had re-established their macho images. We have all had our exercise. Whew! I was hungry until I checked the predator page to see if Cyn had updated and found everyone talking about eating rattlesnakes.

I love, love, love my big Ike! I just never have been a fan of white birds, overall. I would not have the Lt. Brahma hen if she hadn't been mislabeled--was going for the Buffs. Now, Georgie is a complete pain, insisting on being picked up. She was pulling on my son's shorts, someone she'd never even seen before. Maxie was doing her moo-cow imitation constantly yesterday. Ellie was her usual, dignified self, thank goodness one of them isn't a mess!​

Beth, you need to look at this. I think little blue is a boy.

I'm beginning to think that Holly is a Hollis, in spite of having pullet coloring from head to toe--her comb is already pinkish at under 4 weeks old. May be another RuPaul, like the one lockedhearts got from me, a dark rooster.
