Knox, don't know what you look like to say whether those cuties resemble you, but they sure are lovely girls with great smiles- any family resemblance there?

I don't get the bators till December, as she is finishing a hatch. Then on February 23, I will test hatch. By that time, Emma, who is close to laying, should be past the pullet sized egg, and I can include her with my four best hens and Alexander. She is not the biggest girl, but there are things I like about her, and I want to see what happens, since she is Luke's daughter.

No Joleta yet...she is about 200 miles from us...Tony stopped for stall clean up and breakfast time...we are expecting him 1 - 2 pm... He is still stunned at the Diva's behavior...she is being the perfect angel. There are no carrots in hand..just peppermint treats and the camera.

Yesterday when I went down to Gary and Ginny's place to be shown where to off load Jo, Ginny's palomino mare took a keen interest in my English Toffee Cappuccinno...silly girl was mouthing the straw trying to get it out of the cup and finally she just popoed the lid right off and began slurping up my drink...she bit the bottom of the cup and tipped it up, sloshing it all over her nose and in her mouth. Ginny and Gary were dying laughing...they never knew her weakness until that moment and now they know NOT to take cappuccinno around that girl. She drank half of it before I could wrangle the cup away from her. hahahaha

On a sad note, we lost Emmett yesterday. Cheyenne little mille boy. He had a pale face so we brough him inside to watch and the tips of comb were turning purplish, it appears he died in his sleep less than 29 hours from his turning pale.

Wasn't there something about the purple darkening of the comb and the heart or oxygen?

Trust me - my older niece - the blonde - when the boys started sniffing around it WAS jsut short of that country song - "Dont worry ill be up all night cleaning this gun" !

hahaha ..... My dad had 4 daughters. My husband says, "OMG, he must have been a saint!"

He made it very difficult for young men to come courting, believe me!​
