Yard full o' rocks :

I'm thinking there is SURELY some "manly" looking fleece in that "stash" that would make me a GREAT throw for sitting in my chair....got any camo in there Kathy??

Oh yes, there are some manly pieces in there, mostly plaids. ..... camo - only two kinds left - one pink and one blue!

There are 3 bolts of "horses," fleece though.

Alright, I finally went ahead and made a tied fleece blanket. Used the tan fleece and the dark brown fleece. Nice brownish themed blanket. Not bad, not bad. Lot of work though. Geez.

Have a buyer coming tomorrow night to pick out a few of my bantam cochin hens. And another buyer coming this weekend with her kids to pick out a group of my bantam hens. I expect the lady tomorrow night to get at least 2 and probably more. The lady this weekend has 6 kids or something, so I expect her to get 1 for each kid, at least. I think I will probably sell about 10 hens this week. Whooo!

Coupled with the 11 roosters last week, that will be 21 less birds on my feedbill. Can't beat that.

SORRY KATHY

LH, do you still want your pair? The lady coming tomorrow wanted a buff bantam cochin......I wasn't sure if you were up to adding another pair with all of the other stuff going on with your life right now

I don't mind either way, but wanted to check before letting her buy your girl, or turning her down.

Nella I really do like her but it is up to you...if you can sell her go ahead because I just cannot focus on pen building at the moment .... I can get another pair from you later

Especially if the boy is such a butthead...I can get a nicer boy from you...like Spike ....such a sweetie he is.

That boy really is a butthead. You know, I still have a porcelain d'uccle boy left. He has poor shoulder feathering and shouldn't be used as a breeder but he is relatively nice. I did not bring him to the July swap because he was low man on the totem pole and was about half bald from picking. His feathers have grown in and he has a beautiful beard, but poor shoulder feathering...which is apparently a lavender (and hence porcelain) thing.

I do have an extra mottled cochin boy.....and I kept a partridge cochin boy (who is little and adorable). Plus my weird blue mottled mossy whatever dude. You can definitely find someone better.....whenever you are ready. Maybe the April "build" will bring something fun

Kathy, I have a solution. I can just send all of my extra birds to YOU. Then we will both be downsizing. Since downsizing means different things to us

PS.... Don't forget to bring your tools, AND your cages!

No! No more birds! Don't you know the term downsizing. Oh wait, this is Kathy I am talking to.

I'm not going to bring any cages. I am going to bring birds for you people in cardboard boxes and then I am going to light them on fire afterwards......NO MORE BIRDS.
