Trust me what takes a thirty second walk is taking about 4 minutes so i dont fall AGAIN on the ice that doesnt break when you walk on it - think of those times Nick and how much you can and want to manage! Less is more buddy - when it becomes a job - who wants it! Needs to be enjoyment - do what you and want to handle and STILL have fun !

Evening all....

I am going to the NW Georgia Poultry club show tomorrow up in Dalton....will be the first poultry show I've ever attended.

Can I look for anything for any of you? I have ALL I NEED....but just for curiosity, I want to check it out

If any of you are looking for something I can help out with just lemme know

Boys are headed to "Diddys" (their Granddaddy's) for the night...gotta get them outta here then its time for a glass of vino and my fireplace

Take care

That is where I met DH! My middle son was born there at Martin Army hosp. I also learned how to drive there, out in the middle of no where. I can remember hearing all the artillery fire and such.
Cyn how is the tooth? I also forgot to wish Tom a Happy Birthday

I had up to 40 chickens last summer and decided I would better off downsizing so I could have them all in one coop. I am very happy I did that. Winters are very hard on me. If I didn't have DH to help with the heavy stuff I know I would not be able to have chickens.

We felt that way when our boys were doing 4-H. As long as they were having fun we supported it all the way but when they decided it was no longer fun then ok that was fine too. However if they started something they had to follow through and finish it.
Ink, be careful on that ice. Do you have any of those "ice grippers" that you can attatch to your boots? I use them when in the spring when the snow melts and turns into a sheet of ice.

Scott, enjoy the show. I will be watching for those pics.
