Amy, there is one lone Suede baby alive in it's egg on Day 18. One. Just one. I think I did four or five batches to see just one little Suedelette growing. It's a full sibling to Thor.

I know they stare at me all the time and they have my one dog controlled too - he sits and stares and stares at them and if they peep to loud he gets all upset and whines . He wouldnt even eat his breakfast this morning ! He didnt want to leave where they are! LOL

Lily, my BSL just passed on. We are not happy...

Gosh! A hawk got her while she was out. That chunky girl somehow got into the neighbor's yard, and was corned in a fence and killed. Luckily not eaten.

I was planning to move the Del chicks out today, but will wait till tomorrow when we have a hawk-safe run up and it's sunny. Luna was sneezing all morning, but now it seems to be better... The feed they're on is kind of powdery and I think that she got some up her nose. She is so sweet... Comes running to me even more than the others.

Hey Cyn... Does Georgie have especially yellow legs? It seems to me that all of mine have very yellow legs.

Well, all of mine had nice yellow legs before they began laying. Now, they are faded, which is a natural thing with laying hens, but yes, they all started out the proper color.

Welll I had jsut typed a whole paragraph and then clicked to open another site and closed the wrong one. I'm just to tire to retype it all.

anyhow I've got BBS orps in the Bator and some Rir's and silkies from Claudia. One of which is a porcelain. The sad thing is I'm more worried about the silkies. No one is allowed in the room with the eggs without a tin foil yarmulke. When these are done I have plans for BR's from the same guy Kathy got hers and hopefully Scotts CR's. I'm really getting my money's worth from this incubator.

the weather everywhere is crappy and for $218 I could fly back to Alabama.

I've just got to much here to do.

I've got 12 new del pullets to move to the coop asap. It's so wet. I can't stand it. I think I need an ark not a coop. They should be laying in May. The combs are already showing some red. Yeah there all pullets. I've already separated the roos.
