Cyn, glad you ok. I always hate taking my car in. Was glad yesterday it was only $230.00. Everytime it goes in for an inspection I cringe.

Knox - if you got the room go for it! Don't expect me to talk you out of it. I've gone over the deep end long ago.

Hill - I've looked at realestate down in AL and found some places I could afford out right but no room for chickens. That and I don't see the good lord calling me to go that way. I NEED nice weather so Trylin can help me build two new hoop houses.

Hatchings over and the incu is a big mess. Worse than usual since I didn't get the chance to take the turner out. All told I've got 10 RIR, 1 blue orp, 3 silkies , 2Del and 5 crosses. 21 for 23 not too bad.

Trylin is coming over for some RIR's.

Finally got a hold of Patty and she's coming tomorrow to pick up her chicks. I won't do this again.

I've still got a broody on 5 eggs and she must really want babies cuz she could've hatch out two clutches by now. First five here duds and the one Ee that wasn't some in the coop ate it. She is not in a bin in the back room and she seems to be staying put. I will def have a broody set up asap. At least with a broody you don't have to disinfect her when she gets done hatching. Then too if things don't go well you have someone to blame.

My family is enamored by the silkies so I'll be looking for a new home, since I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT! I will not go through the rest of my life wearing a tin foil hat. Lord have mercy!

Well take care, baby sitting the queen today. I say if she's still alive when mom gets home I've done my job.

Sarah they look great....

That is a Del cross no doubt, and a Australorp EE cross and an Orp/Cochin cross that is without doubt a Luna baby. Your little Serama X looks just like my two.
