Oh no .... they do what Mama says to do .... they were up on the roosts, too! Running back and forth with her ... deciding where to sit! It was hillarious! I was soooo glad she finally got down and went into the nest! And so were they! ....

If I am not mistaken *ahem* I believe Tom is lyposuctionist and Cyn is the holder and therapist.

I think that is a great way to earn extra cash Cyn...you and Tom make up business cards and perform lyposuction on fattie hens...I shall send Fattie to you pronto and DeDe, she could use a little off the sides of her WIDE load

oops did I say that? No No I mean a little off her love handles ... yes that is what I mean yes

Well I re-homed my two extra boy duckies today...did not make any money on them but they went to a good home where they can enjoy a nice pond with some cayugas and no stew pot or roaster. I had a guy come look at them and say "Are they good table ducks" I said "Yes they are" he said "How much you want for em" I said "$20 each" he said "that is too much for eating ducks" I said "That is the price". So I gave them to the family with the pond and the cute kid. LOL Sarah did good. She sold all the birds she took, re-homed two kittens and only came home with her bunny she was trying to re-home.

Then Sarah and I went to lunch, she bought me lunch (so sweet of her), we chilled for the afternoon. I gave Ebony and Lancelot their medication (for those who do not know my babies got drenched a week or so ago and caught pheneumonia so they are in the basement being spoiled rotten), then went to Sarah's to help get some horses vaccinated (we do the foals in the morning, which will be fun as this will be their first shots and I am the meanie who will stick them with the awful needle while Sarah holds them) meanwhile DH, my truck and my bank card were at Fort Knox watching missle test launches with 11 cadets *rolls her eyes*.

Still no resolution on the house purchase front but we are talking and negotiating. The week was dark but it had shining moments. One, the decision and agreement to give Ms Joleta Bey a home, truck axle finally done, re-homing the extra boy ducks and then at the swap, I met a very nice man who owns a beautiful black arabian stallion standing at stud who would love to breed to Joleta. I think Joleta needs to be turned into a Diva before we go looking for studs, I want her selective and picky or no dice.

Not to mention, I am not sure about babies, I want her and I to enjoy each other's company and the ridiculous spoiling she will receive. But, it was a bright moment none the less.

Amy I am glad Abby is doing better. I will keep praying for her as well as Livvie and several others.

Kathy, I know theyare terrors, they are Dellies!

Night night all.

WHO? US? Never! **Insert angelic face here** Kathy! How could you even suggest that they're evil!?! Or terrors either for that matter!! Just a cute, sweet pair of little Del's is all I see.

Now their brood mother, on the other hand, that's quite another story! Just one look at those eyes will tell you that much!

How old are these little sweeties now? They look far too young to be attempting high roosting areas! I think I'd fear for their safety in the face of a possible fall.

But then I'm always freaking out over such things. One of these days, I might just learn to trust that the girls know what they're doing!

ETA: Guys, I really want to thank you for all of the good thoughts, prayers and well wishes for my little Abby. I know the reason she's still here with me is due in large part to all of the good Karma y'all have sent her way. For that I am truly grateful. I'm grateful for friends who understand that she's more than just a chicken. That she's my little friend, and that as my little friend, she is just as worthy as any human of a kind thought, or a small prayer for her health and well being. Thank you my friends for understanding, through shared experiences, what she means to me.

You guys are the greatest!!

Hmmm, I had to go back on this thread to check!

They are 4 weeks old today. I think they are both girls. What do I call them .... a DelaEgger (or Delawegger)? Or an EasterWare?
lau.gif
I wonder if they will lay green eggs or peachy colored eggs. Maybe I should just box em up and send them to you, Amy. After all, they are Isaac's grandchildren .... and you love Isaac.

OR ...... maybe Beth ..... Hmmmm, I think that box I am sending Alexander in does have a partition in it! I think Mama and babies would fit just fine in there.

(Better than a Turken, huh?)

No! No! NOOOO!!!! Beth is already getting Alexander. Send Mama and the twins to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I have a nifty little barrel coop that all three of them could fit into until the littles are big enough to join the flock. I have two EE pullet/hens that mama girl could hang out with when the time comes. Besides, I'm the Queen of the Mutts! Beth wants to breed Dels. Why burden her with more mutts?!?! Burden MEEEE!!!!

I'll love 'em to pieces! And those two little goobers would look so wonderful mixed in with Evie and Prius, don't you think?

Evie is on the left, Prius on the right, taken about 2 months ago or so.......

Yes, all three of those lovely little birds belong out here, with me and my mob of motley mutts!! Yes! Yes! Yes! They will be doted upon, and loved and cherished! They will receive fresh treats of black plums, scrambled eggs and apple wedges daily. Not to mention more wild bird seed and squash than they can shake a stick at!
gig.gif
Pack them up and ship them out. Just let me know what I owe ya!

And yes, they're far better than a Turken!
