Sounds like my cochins. They were supposedly breeder quality birds. Except for how TWO ended up with pea combs......and red leakage.

I bought a quad off the person who ended up with them, knowing that there were already color/comb issues on the brothers/sisters. Mine didn't appear to have color or comb issues....but they were young. Now that they are older, I have a pea comb on one lady and the son has red leakage. Sigh. The blue hen with the pea comb is to be part of a blue brahma project....soon as I get a Light Brahma....I already have blue brahma/cochin project birds from the guy who took the splash cochin roo with the pea comb. But that splash roo had red leakage and it is coming through on the 'kids'. I should get pix of them, they are all blue and super cute. 3 boys, 1 girl

Maybe my cochins came from the same guy as Sarah's Orps......

LH, forgot to mention......I have 3 barred cochin hens, so no idea WHICH one lays the pretty eggs. But 1 of the 3 lays these

No idea if it is the bossy midget or one of the bigger girls.

Eta: just found these pix from last year...the girls were young and i only had 1 rooster at the time LOL so they are nowhere near as pretty now

Ooooh! I see a very pretty bird in the background that I'd very much like to know what the breed is! What is that gorgeous gold speckled creature in the background???

Kathy looks girly to me from that pic and I thought so in the pics above. Are the hackle feathers pointy? That one lavender looks iffy too. They are so hard to tell sometimes and they can fool ya..like Baize who we are 99.9% positive is a BOY. LOL

I can't really see any saddle feathers very well. I am thinking that I might have the one black female though. The other 4 I am pretty sure are male. I dunno .... they might surprise me! Doesn't matter, really. I just really do like them! I sold all my original Lavenders. I do have 2 of their chicks, a bit older than the Cha-Chingers. One male and one female............... I think!

Actually, its not a Campine.....it's a buttercup! Same coloring as golden campines, but different combs.

I had a pair of girls but traded them for my Cochin quad last winter.

Here they were. HILARIOUS girls.

Instead of the single comb of the Golden Campine, Buttercups have a buttercup comb....looks like Moose Antlers

You think dellies have mind control? These girls were always plotting and planning something.

See the pretty RIR and Leghorn hens? Aw how pretty...but wait.....what do I spy in the background giving me the evil eye?

A BUTTERCUP

On a sidenote, I *do* have a Golden Campine Rooster these days. Someday I will get a pic of him
