I love my post office. Express Mail goes out at 5PM. This allows my birds to eat all day long, and then they sleep while in transport. I still put food in with them though. At least it is some comfort to know that they left with a full belly ......errrrr, crop!

Dang it ..... I can not figure out this "build a website," stuff. I bought my website, and am trying to build it.

Speaking of building....I am going to assume lack of pictures means lack of brooder building? Did the storm blow away your enthusiasm already?

I used a free website template for mine..........but you really need some HTML experience to do it. Do you have any?

BUILDING ! ! ! HA ...

OMG, my daughter's boyfriend insisted ..... "Let me build that! I LOOOOOOOVE building!" WELL ..... grrrrrr, does he not know to measure twice, cut once????? Instead of 45" cut, he cut 42" ...... He is currently outside figuring it out!

Why, oh why, did I agree to "LET" him do this????

Website .... experience you ask? HA, I am lucky that I figured out how to read a dang email, and post a picture on BYC. That is about the extent of my computer related knowledge. I have been messing around .... go look at it .... TimberlineHeritagePoultry.com

The website .... ha, it is pitiful ..... I gotta keep looking at the videos and I will figure it out. It is gonna take some time, as I am very slow at it.

Hey y'all.....sorry I have been MIA, but I have been working "part time" with a gentleman from church building Electrical Control Panels...Cyn, tell Tom I remember why I changed from majoring in Electrical Engineering to Industrial Engineering. OMGosh....I haven't looked at a wiring diagram in over 25 years.

In the afternoons, I have been spending all of my time in the "job hunt mode".

I had a telephone interview with Rain Bird (irrigation) yesterday and have another one with their VP of Sales tomorrow....say a prayer that IF this is the right fit that an offer will be made. I have had several other interviews, but so far nothing has panned out.

Things seem to have settled down with my birds. NO more mysterious deaths, but if any more occur, I am going back up to the State Lab to see if they can help me with the cause. I feel horrible that Kathy lost the 2 girls I sent to her.

Been having wicked weather here the last few days....LOTS of rain and wind. So far, no damage here. I hope all y'all are fairing well in this crazy mess.

I'll try to be more regular in checking in....just gotta get accustomed to this new schedule or quasi-working and job hunting all the same day. I also need to find pix from opening weekend and post of the deer/hawg kills so Serrin believes me, LOL

Have a great afternoon and stay safe!

Hello all...well the day after storm assessment has been done ...

Spike's small coop blown over and smashed up (one of the little coops I used to transport my birds cross country)...salvageable unknown at present.

Spike and girls were safely tucked in their dog crate inside the garage so none of the feathered kids were hurt.

One antenna mangled but I was going to have to take it down and trash it anyway

cables ripped from house

some siding ripped from house

misc things blown into the back 40

misc feeders and waterers used outside were destroyed

yard - disaster

some fencing taken down

But at least we did not have a tornado anywhere near us.

Oh and BTW Chickens love cheesy puffcorn
lol.png
The wenches snatched a small bag from my hands as I was carrying stuff in the house and they immediately annihilated my puffcorn.

I might add that it was a DELAWARE that snatched the bag. Guess who she was?

*drumroll*
