And I thought you wouldn't mind so I posted that gorgeous picture you took of Cheyenne and Napoleon as my computer wallpaper. That one is so professional! I love it. And of course, I love how Cheyenne loves those birds, too.

Cynthia, I'm with you. There will never ever be another Suede, and one just cannot improve upon perfection. It will be a sad day indeed when that big beautiful blue boy crosses the bridge. But let's not even think about that! Suede has years ahead of him yet!

OK you crazy lot! I gotta let me go now. There's a laundry room floor with my name on it that needs the last of the tiles mortared into place and then tomorrow I can grout the whole dang thing. And then. AND THEN! New washer and dryer!!

I can hardly wait to go out and make our selections. For the first time in nearly 30 years, I'll have a matched set!! **Happy Dance!

alright i was karate kicked by the broody with the single baby. i was just trying to look at her baby but HE was screaming and she jumped out of the brooder and flew like 6 feet to flog me in the arm. evil witch. so then she went back out to the main flock/yard and i gave her baby to the rooster brooder, aka cetawin's broody girl. sigh.

but that means that i now have an empty brooder......who wants to bet that someone else goes broody now?

i moved the 4 roosters to the big empty pen and put mr mottled and 4 mottled ladies in the 8x8 covered pen. now i just need to decide what to do with all these babies.......
