Beth, I just loved her too. Cloud is Suedes grandaughter by way of Maxine, Suedes daughter from Cyn. I have one that looks just like her that is another Daughter. She is just happily dalling around in the snow I am told and out of 19 hens, I got 18 eggs day before yesterday. My Chicken keeper is thrilled to death with that; but not the foot of snow on the ground there. I am wanting to get home but have to wait until I can get in my road and the keeper can get out. LOL
I am getting itchy to hold my hens and young roo again. Hope all is well it is good to know she is loved. Gloria Jean

That pic is one of those that will be blown up, printed and framed for several reasons...one it is a beautiful picture of my horse and my daughter...my 2 favorites girls that are not feathered of course. And also because that was the first time Cheyenne has ever walked a horse or done anything really with one aside from brushing a friend's horse. Jo was very patient of Cheyenne's beginner mistakes and she took it all in stride without becoming frustrated, confused or upset. As Arabians are known to be spirited and high strung, Jo is a shining example that a good Arabian is a smart horse with the ability to be gentle and well behaved. Do not get me wrong...Miss Jo has some fire under that pretty exterior and those big sweet eyes but she saves her tantrums for me, so to speak. She feels my confidence around her and will pitch her tantrum to see how far she can push and how long she can pitch a fit...so they are usually over pretty fast because she dislikes my method of dealing with her tantrums....I make her walk in tight circles until she settles her budding temper and then we proceed on about our business or play. She is a very intelligent horse and can sense the lack of experience and the vulnerability in a child and she allows for them to learn and feel safe with her.

She is the best Christmas gift I have ever received and she came to me via some really awesome people...Beth and her DH, Jack who let me give their baby girl a forever home and from my DH who allowed me to bring her here, who helped me arrange for her to be brought here and who helped me build an incredible stall for her.

Yeah she is spoiled rotten.

And we love you for taking her in, LH. And that is YOUR gift to us, that our special girl has a loving home with you and Bill and Cheyenne. She was my dream horse in so many ways, I have told you some of the stories, and knowing you two have connected is making me SO happy!

Frankie likes his chickens too.

Even as a puppy, Molly made sure the roosters stayed in line.

Love the pics Nella!
Here is Kodi, he is saying to himself "I must not eat family members" He is good with the chickens but I don't trust him completely.
