It's winter, doncha know? Honestly, I do not look forward to the white stuff. I know it's comin', but I do not like the stuff! 46* here today, as well as in the forecast for the next couple days..... then down to 40. Above freezing is good with me.

What I find more amazing than the snow Nella, is that at 5:30, you still had DAYLIGHT! What's that like in the middle of winter?

The sun, if it shines at all in the winter, goes to bed around 3:50 in these parts. Must be nice!

Ick! I dunno. There's just something terribly mutant and diseased looking about the roos. Icky poo!! Icky poo! But then, I suppose to own one and get to know it, would be to love it too. I mean hey, it's still a chicken! I think..........

Did you read that little article? http://www.ganoi.com/gaho.html They only lay like 150 eggs in their LIFETIME ! ! Very rare! The hens are so big, they break the eggs, too! Interesting, huh? ! !

If I had a couple of those I wouldn't have to drag the wagon out to the coop every morning. Imagine a hawk trying to fly off with one of those. There'd have to be two of them. Wouldn't have to worry about Fox either they're to ugly for them to eat. Looks like my ex-mother-in-law.
