Oh yes! To be very sure! Drop dead gorgeous birds when they have good breeding. Heck, even some of the hatchery birds are still pretty. But you can sure tell a breeder bird from a hatchery bird! There's just no comparison. Where did you get yours from Kathy? Post some pictures of them would you please dear. Whenever you get the chance. There's no hurry. I just like drooling over them from time to time.
I sure wish GeeGee were more friendly. She's such a big, fluffy, pretty girl. It seems to me that a girl that pretty should be sweet. Nope! Not that girl! At least not to me. And I don't understand it. She's always been that way. From the time she was just a wee bit of a thing, fresh out of the incubator. I guess she didn't get the ha-ha part of that whole moving to the brooder thing.
She just doesn't want to have a thing to do with me. She'll snuggle up nice and sweet with just about anybody in the coop. Gets along great with everyone. Just doesn't like me I guess.
OK, I'm rambling.....running out of what little steam I had for today. Hope y'all stay warm and snug. I've seen the forecasts for the southern states and y'all look like you're swiping my snow! You may borrow it, but I want it back, you understand?
Thank heavens for wood heat, and 10+ acres of trees from which to harvest any time we need to. We'll be back in the deep freeze by this time Monday night, from what I hear on the news.
y'all take care. I'll catch up with ya tomorrow.
