I'll take a few today!! They are really great little birds....I call them "my little fuzzies", but they are just too small to run with the big birds and I think they are a bit lonely.

aaawwwwww well I have 5 silkies so they would have running companions...

Nick...I think he was a great man and did so much for the civil rights movement. But, we don't "pick up trash or anything" on Presidential holidays, etc, why do it on MLK day???

This is not meant to be insulting to anyone because I do feel that Dr King was a great man, no argument, but I do think we need to consider all the holidays and ALL the great men/women who served our nation.

Hi Kathy,

I am relatively new to this thread, but have a suggestion...
Have you thought of trying the invisible fence?? Not even the one that you have to wire. There is one that uses a plug in base and you can set it for a perimeter. Can't remember how big it goes, but it works well for a friend of mine. Hate to see a good dog lose a good home for wandering too far..especially one that is good with the chickens..

They work if the dog does not figure them out. Once they figure them out then all bets are off.
The problem with those and Tyson may be that he will test it a few times and get zapped....then he will run on through it...once he is out of range and not getting zapped any longer, he is on his way to wherever. And Tyson is accustomed to running where he wants to. My goofball would do just that same thing...so I have a collar on him that I have the remote for.

Nick...I do that everyday. hahahahaha

We all should!

By pick up trash, do you mean show a little leg on the corner of Broadway and Magnolia, or get my little pokey doohickey out and pick up junk outside?

I carried another 8000lb trash bag full of brooder mess up the hill this morning, I feel I have done my duty for society. Only 3 more to go. Sigh.

Also, I am WORKING today. Why why why.

Forgot to add these. Little Miss Lucy the cat is fitting in well. She is so happy

Norman is still mean to her and Frankie still wants to eat her, but we are working on it! I see progress.....

Lucy on the left, Evil Norman on the right.
