I was remembering a baby I hatched in Oregon, Draco. He was EE over my splash cochin Luna. He did not have feathered legs....

This was him at 2 days old

No it ultimately was solid except for three or four feathers at the base but the markings in the sickles remained. He was a gorgeous boy but he and Sirius were rehomed after they tag teamed Thor and ripped off the blade of his comb. Besides they were not going to come to Kentucky with me....I wanted Thor and Cheyenne wanted Severus who was not an idiot at the time.

Check out the pics of my D'Uccle trio, 13 weeks old now. No crowing from Beau yet.

The yellow chick looks like a Dellie cross to me, but that baby is definitely as yellow as Big Bird!

I took Junebug and Sarah out to the Firetower and left little Molly and Adonis in the brooder. They were getting run over by that big long legged stork baby, Junebug. Thought she might accidentally kill him and we couldn't take the chance. When they are a week or so older, depending on the weather, we may take them out to the Firetower, too. Gotta get the brooder ready for my big hatch!

Sarah said now that yellow one dried, it has chipmunk stripes on its back not smut.

I don't see this trait in my Nick. I don't think Nick is a tall as Uncle george though. I'll have to wait and see if I want to deal with it. This is what happens when you have three roos running with flock. Only ones I know for sure are Nicks are the six girls. Got a couple of young roos but not sure whose they are. I am getting some nice (table sized) roos though.

Got a pm from Jody that my Lavender orp chicks are ready, plus two black and two buff.

Hope to get them this weekend.
